We invite you to be part of the Ms. Texas Senior America Pageant 2025. This is not a beauty pageant, but an event that represents the "Age of Elegance." Our pageant champions healthy aging, wellness, and mental well-being, and our contestants exemplify the "positive image of aging." We are re-defining the senior woman by motivating and encouraging them to utilize their full potential. We honor all senior women with our pageant, giving the contestants a platform to demonstrate their dignity, maturity, inner beauty and talents.

Ms. Texas Senior 2024
Sue Miller Grandi, an 87-year-old resident of Mesquite, TX, is an extraordinary individual with a diverse range of talents and a heart full of kindness. Sue is a proud mother of five children, grandmother to nine grandchildren, and great-grandmother to three great-grandchildren.
Alongside her sister, Sue co-owns a business called "Sisters Sewing Kindness." This unique venture focuses on creating handmade blankets that are donated to various groups in need, including veterans, hospital patients, children, the handicapped, and predominantly senior citizens. Through this endeavor, Sue and her sister have touched the lives of many, bringing warmth and comfort to those who need it most.
Sue's creativity extends beyond her sewing skills. She has also co-authored a children's book titled "Eddie's Amazing Adventures" alongside her daughter. This captivating tale is sure to ignite the imaginations of young readers and create a bond between generations.
Volunteering is a significant part of Sue's life, and she can often be found dedicating her time and talents to various organizations. She actively volunteers at Brookhaven College Opera Workshops, where she passionately sings and participates in speaking engagements at civic events. Sue shares her love for literature by reading to students in public schools, fostering a love for reading in young minds. Additionally, Sue is an active member of her church choir, enriching the congregation with her melodious voice.
Driven by a passion for performance arts, Sue is currently pursuing studies in Opera and Musical Theater at Brookhaven College. Her dedication and talent have been recognized, as she recently dazzled the judges with her rendition of "O Mio Bambino Caro" and was crowned Ms. Texas Senior America 2024. This esteemed title is a testament to Sue's exceptional skills and magnetic stage presence.Welcome!!!

The Ms. Texas Senior America Pageant has been in existence for over 27 years. The pageant's goal is to enrich and empower the lives of all seniors and promote the senior woman in all her glory. The Ms. Texas Senior America Pageant seeks recognition of their achievements, motivating, and encouraging them to attain their full potential. These ladies come from all walks of life and they all have a story to tell.

We honor all women with our pageant giving the contestants a platform to demonstrate their dignity, maturity, inner beauty and talents. The Ms. Texas Senior America Pageant salutes all senior women. Our goal is to enrich and empower the lives of all seniors and promote the senior woman in all her glory. Our contestants have reached the "Age of Elegance" and are the foundation of America, our most valuable treasure.

Participation Requirements
Thank you for your interest in participating in the Ms. Senior TX America Pageant. The 4 main qualifications are:
1. Must be 60 years of age or older OR must turn 60 within 2 weeks following the pageant.
2. Contestant must be a current Texas resident for at least 3 months.
3. Contestant must reside in Texas and be a U.S. Citizen.
4. Must submit a non refundable $200 Registration Fee with required paperwork.

STEP TWO!! - Call our Contestant Coordinator, Dr. Syntha West, to tell her you are interested, and to see if there is a spot available. Texting is not allowed.

Contestant Information and Entry Form.
STEP FOUR!! - Be sure to send Entry Form, Entry Fee(non-refundable), 5X7 color photograph/headshot, and all Paperwork to the correct parties. Please send all documentation at one time either by mail or email.
